Week #31 Words from the Wise

Advice for the upcoming freshman and sophomores? Well, first of all, get involved in as much as you want to. Sports will be quite a bit harder than they were in junior high. Also the academics just get harder so don't be thinking it is just going to get easier and easier because that is not true. Take the classes that interest you and plan them well. Honestly, having two study halls is not a good idea because you will probably only do work in one of them. Get involved in the clubs that interest you and have fun in your high school years. Always turn in your work in time. In Spanish I got my first B because I did not turn my work in on time so turning in your work is very important. A great piece of advice I have for you is please mature over the summer. Nobody likes to hear about all the stupid drama and we all hate to hear the extremely obnoxious and inappropriate jokes. High school can be a fun experience if you make the most out of it. At times, it will be hard, but you can make the best out of it.

  1. Agreed! Needing to mature is so important! Plus once you get out of high school and you realize you didnt get involved you will be upset!
