Week #7 What a fright!
The most scary experience I have ever had was probably one time when I went water skiing and almost drowned. We were at Lake Wildwood and it was very busy but I really wanted to ski. Therefore, I skied and we were turning around when I saw a huge wave coming right towards us. I didn't have enough time to let go of the rope and go under water when the wave hit me. I couldn't stay balanced so I ended up basically jumping the wave but I didn't land well, instead of landing okay, I fell into the wave. Then by legs went over my head under water and my back popped more than I knew it could pop and I kept rolling and turning in the water and I couldn't get to the surface. I was absolutely terrified and I felt like I was drowning. Luckily, after I literally thought I was going to drown and die, I came to the surface. The problem though was that I couldn't swim well at all because my back was in so much pain but I got to the boat. One way this experience has affected me is I now never ski when the lake is busy or the water is rough.
